Life has been pretty busy for me, but I have been crafting too. Sorry for the lack of posting. I have been working hard in my garden, and working on some rag quilting, needle work, and I just got my first set of felting needles! I am also going to be selling Usborne Books coming up very soon. Keep Crafting!
Today I feel fabulous! I got away last night with some girl friends for an evening of much needed woman chat, and refreshment. It was fantastic! I haven't been out in a long time, and it was high time. Today, I have a whole new outlook , and I am not so blue about the fact we still have tons of snow on the ground. I am going out today to get some seeds, and I am going to make mini terrariums to get my garden started. I also found an idea on how to make cold boxes to plant in to add time to your growing season. We have a very short season in the Cariboo. This is going to be my first real garden, and I am excited. I know gardening is more of a hobby than a craft, but in all reality you are still making something. :) Happy Saturday!
I posed this question on my facebook status a while ago, but no one responded soooo, I am going to try again. When there are so many craft arts to do, and try how do you decide which one you want to master? I have so many ideas, and things I want to learn, but not every craft is for everyone. Some crafts need a certain amount of patience, and discipline. I tend to want instant results, and that gets me into trouble. I think it is the longing to be successful at something aside from being a wife, and mother. And I am not even sure I am a big success at that either. I think all this negativity has been brought on by a long, cold and snowy winter, and I am longing for warmer greener days.
Below is a pic of my first attempt at using Gallery Glass. I think once you get the hang of using it, it can be a lot of fun.
It has been a really long winter, and I need some inspiration! I will be blogging about my projects, and friends who craft in the near future! There is a lot of things I want to learn to do, and so many things I want to do. Let's hope I can get some inspiration soon, and let those creative juices flow!!!
